If a candidate has recently completed their pre-course work on another course page for a course they did not attend, but are now attending the same course at your centre, they will not need to redo the pre-course work.
Please ask the candidate to visit their other course page and download their pre-course completion certificate, then send this to you. The candidate will also need to enrol onto your course page via the usual method with the enrolment key.
Once the candidate is enrolled onto your course page and you have a copy of their pre-course completion certificate, you can mark their pre-course work as complete.
To do this, please follow the steps below:
- Access the relevant course page
- Click into the ‘Course preparation’ / ‘Preparing for the course’ / ‘Resources for centres’ section
- Click ‘Confirm that transferring candidates have completed the pre-course work’
- Click ‘Grade’
- Search the candidate by surname via the search box in the top right corner
- Put a 1 in the grade box for the relevant candidate and select ‘Save changes’ at the bottom
Please note: the pre-course boxes won’t be ticked on the candidate’s side, but they will be saved in the gradebook.
If a candidate has only started their pre-course work on another course page, please ask them to finish it on there and send you the pre-course completion certificate.
If the candidate did not start the pre-course work for their previous course, please ask them to complete this on your course page.
