As per the course regulations, candidates must complete their pre-course learning before they attend the course in order to gain a Completion Certificate following the course. If a candidate attends the course without having completed the pre-course learning, they will only be eligible for an Observer certificate, even if they subsequently complete this.
As a course organiser, you should check your candidates' pre-course completion 48 hours before the course, to allow time for any issues to be rectified.
To check your candidates' pre-course completion, please follow the steps below:
- Visit the relevant course page
- Click ‘Course preparation’
- Scroll to the pre-course enrolment section and click ‘Check candidates pre-course work’
- You can filter the candidates via the initial search boxes if you wish to check specific candidates. Alternatively, if you wish to check all candidates, ensure the initial search boxes are set to ‘All’.
- The topics are listed along the top of the table. There needs to be a tick in the box for each topic. Do not tick any boxes on this table yourself – if anything needs ticking, please contact us on enquiries@alsg.org.
- Any boxes which have been ticked by the course organiser may be voided, which will result in the candidate’s certificate being delayed or cancelled
Once the candidates have completed their pre-course work, they should be able to download a pre-course completion certificate from their course page.
