Identifying the correct licence type
These are the three main distinctions:
In the case of both one and two, the licences are for those developing software/apps to sell to end users whether they be organisations or in the case of apps, individuals. In option three, you are an end-user organisation implementing triage. Details of the costs of licencing are also summarised below.
In each case, when you are ready to proceed, click on the link next to the description that matches your situation to submit an e-form summarising your licencing request.
- a software company developing software e.g. an electronic patient record, which will include the capability to use the Manchester Triage System by either:
- integrating both the framework and content ['Software developer - include MTS content']
- integrating the framework only. End-users will then be responsible for integrating the content at a later date. ['Software developer - include framework but do not include MTS content']
- a web app development company including the capability to use the Manchester Triage System ['Web app developer - include MTS content']
- If you are an organisation implementing triage you have the following options:
- End-user - Ambulance Service ['Ambulance Service']
- End-user - Pre-Hospital Pathfinder, Nursing and Residential Triage or Community Triage Tool ['Manchester Triage System Licence from ALSG/MTG - End-user']
- End-user - the software company has provided both the framework and MTS content ['Software purchased - prepopulated with MTS content']
- End-user - software company has only provided the framework and where you will be responsible for including the MTS content itself ['Software purchased - framework only no MTS content included']
- End-user - developing the software within your organisation whether that be within a single organisation or a group of connected organisations. ['Software being developed in-house']
- End-user - using the printed book at the point of triage. ['Using paper-based systems']
