The course that runs in Australia is a different version to the APLS course we run in the UK. In order to teach on APLS courses in the UK, you will need to complete the following:
- Complete the UK APLS Instructor e-modules
- Attend two UK APLS 2-day courses as an Instructor Candidate (IC)
To get started with this process, please email us on enquiries@alsg.org with your Australian APLS instructor certificate. We will need to verify this before we can give you access to the relevant e-modules. Once we have received verification, we will get you set up and send you the details.
Once you have completed the APLS instructor e-modules, please send your e-module completion certificate back to us so we can get your APLS IC status processed.
Please note that you cannot book your IC courses until you have completed the e-modules and been processed as an IC. Any ICs which are completed before you have gained IC status will be invalid.
Once you have completed both ICs, you will be processed as a Full Instructor and will need to stay in line with our Instructor Activity Regulations.
Once you have booked onto your 1st IC, you should receive a pre-course email which contains the link to order your free copy of the APLS 7th edition manual.
If you have any queries regarding the APLS conversion, please contact enquiries@alsg.org.
